Hi,

Thank you for your response.

By using install-tl.zip for Windows, I could downloaded TexLive 2008 files, but the final stage of the execution shows like this:

27 File(s) copied
1 File(s) copied
Running fc-cache -v -r
running mktexlsr C:/Program/texmf-dist C:/Program/texmf
mktexlsr: Updating C:/Program/texmf-dist/ls-R...
mktexlsr: Updated C:/Program/texmf-dist/ls-R.
mktexlsr: Updating C:/Program/texmf/ls-R...
mktexlsr: Updated C:/Program/texmf/ls-R.
mktexlsr: Done.
writing fmtutil.cnf data to C:/Program/web2c/fmtutil.cnf
writing updmap.cfg to C:/Program/web2c/updmap.cfg
writing language.dat data to C:/Program/tex/generic/config/language.dat
writing language.def data to C:/Program/tex/generic/config/language.def
running mktexlsr C:/Program
mktexlsr: Updating C:/Program/ls-R...
mktexlsr: Updated C:/Program/ls-R.
mktexlsr: Done.
running updmap-sys... done
re-running mktexlsr C:/Program
mktexlsr: Updating C:/Program/ls-R...
mktexlsr: Updated C:/Program/ls-R.
mktexlsr: Done.
pre-generating all format files (fmtutil-sys --all), be patient...done
Logfile: C:/Program/install-tl.log
Press any key to continue . . .

If I press any key as it says, then the execution stops and the prompt window disappear. I tried more than once, but the results were the same. Obviously, the process is not done, but somehow Latex and Metapost work before turning off the PC. But after I turned it on again, then the following message shows:

There is a file or folder on your computer called "C:\Program" which could cause certain applications to not function correctly. Renaming it to "C:\Program1" would solve this problem. Would you like to rename it now?

I click yes and tried LaTex, then it no more woks.

WinEdt Diagnosis shows :

Tex-Root not found :\TexLive

So, I changed C:\Program1 to C:\TexLive, but still it didn't work.

Can you understand the problem? Is there anyone who could succeeded with this method to install TexLive window version?

Thanks,
Steve
