Looks fine ... any problems with that?

How do you come to that conclusion??? It works, and as intended.

Did you install to a directory with " " SPaces in the name like
	C:Program and Foobar\texlive
?

Well, you shouldn't have renamed it ... not very surprising. How do you
think can the binaries be found when you move them around arbitrarily.

What about moving them to the wastebin and still expect them to work?
No, you shouldn't move them afterwards.

You cannot change the location of the installation AFTERWARDS!!!! Or
better you can, but you have to adjust loads of things (menu items, PATH
registry settings, ...). If you are not up to that, why do you play
around?

Please, simply remove anything TeX realted for now, then make a new
installation to
	c:\texlive\2008
and DO NOT MOVE IT AROUND afterwards!

Best wishes
