[tex-live] TL2009: metafont not run for pdflatex

    the PK files for concrete roman and concrete math are not generated when
    running pdflatex.

Thanh and/or Martin, it seems the enabling of mktexpk was removed from
pdftex.web.  Was this intentional?  (I hope not.)  I didn't see it
mentioned in NEWS, anyway.

In the pdftex.web from TL 2008, the code looks like this:

    end else
        kpse_init_prog('PDFTEX', fixed_pk_resolution, nil, nil);
    if not kpse_var_value('MKTEXPK') then
        kpse_set_program_enabled (kpse_pk_format, 1, kpse_src_cmdline);
    set_job_id(year, month, day, time);

In the pdftex.web currently in svn, the 'if not ... cmdline);' is absent.
