I learned to say it with a believable enough accent that I’m not believed.

Had a professor in school, brilliant lady, PhDs in physics & math, spoke 
three languages fluently: Russian, French, and German; her English was 
“no so goot”.  But, I explained to her, “я не понимаю по-русскии, je ne 
comprends pas français, & Ich verstehe nicht Deutsch.”

Also occasionally handy are “nem beszélek magyarul” and “wo bu hui shuo 
zhong wen”.  (I learned that last one with the correct tones.)
