Well, elsewhere I warn that _if_ karta makes claims on derived
work, then nkarta wil be subject to them. The point is that _I_
make no such restrictions. Perhaps this means nkarta is not
legally public domain. I am not a lawyer.

On the other hand, the author of karta has elected to remain
hidden for 17 years. Also, the metafont seems clearly based
on some type1 font, whose author is still more unknown. The
whole thing is unsatisfying. I have let robin know these
concerns and will certainly understand if nkarta is removed.
But then also karta would have to be removed.
