No offense taken, maybe my words came over a bit harsh, but I only
tried to explain that our situation is due to the fact of multi-arch
support not that simple as for a windows only product. Actually some

I think here the contribution of each and everyone here is asked for.

TeX Live is not a project of the few people around Karl, but everyone
can contribute. All the documentation sources are available and
easily accessible. Same with the source code of all the programs.

We simply don't have the (wo)man power do work on all fronts, and
the I must say IMHO enormously improved situation on Windows is
only due to Tomek, who joined some time ago with some very
simple suggestions about improvements, and then somehow got caught
and sticked (how happy I am about that!!!)

Room for improvements there always is, and contributions are taken
with open arms.
