But the main problem is in luatex specific packages which either have to
maintain compatibility with luatex shipped binaries (which is a waste of
effort giving the rapid development of luatex) or not update texlive
versions, leaving the users alone to hunt the interwoven dependencies
(also installing macro packages is not as simple as updating binaries).
