[tex-live] Value of TEXDOCS in texmf.cnf needs adjustment ?

I let tlmgr make the update of texdoc and indeed the problem with 
texmf-local/doc
has disappeared (it took me some time because i had first to learn how 
to install Perl/Tk
to have a functional tlmgr) (I am very new to TeXLive and its utilities)
