Phil didn't waste bandwidth.  Is a 679-byte mail message a problem for
you?  There's nothing wrong with Phil's mail.  

Why didn't you ask Zdenek to shut up when he said that he has only the
environment in mind though he formerly wrote "...I would start with
PATH and verification of the environment variables"?  At this time you
weren't concerned about bandwidth at all.

Phil explained in his mail how he interpreted the phrase "...I would
start with PATH and verification of the environment variables".  This
was necessary, of course, because otherwise other people might think
that he's an idiot because he was talking about PATH while nobody else
remembers that PATH was mentioned in the original message and
everybody believes that it's his own invention.

Martin, could you read the mails before you respond?
