My TL2010pretest x89_64-linux asy is also version 1.88 and has a 2009 date:

$ ls -l $(which asy)
-rwxr-xr-x 1 gwhite bod 6285544 2009-10-05 22:04
/usr/local/texlive/2010/bin/x86_64-linux/asy
