I only wanted to add: the current repository will usually hold updated
luatex and metapost that are taken from ConTeXt Minimals, however we
don't support all the platforms that are present in TeX Live. The
following platforms are missing for example: alpha-linux, i386-cygwin
(due to some semi-serious problems), i386-netbsd, mips-irix,
powerpc-aix, sparc-linux, x86_64-solaris. The sparc-solaris is
hopefully on the way.

If anyone misses updated luatex for those platforms, let me know.
There is/will be an automated way to compile the binaries and submit
them to tlcontrib, we just had no ConTeXt users on the mentioned
platforms, so nobody has built those binaries so far.
