Yes, this gives the right synctex file. However, without the "-no-pdf" option, XeLaTeX ONLY sets the Offsets to 0 without any changes to the contents, which could be wrong: it gives wrong position information. For example, in the following lines of a synctex,=================X Offset:0
Y Offset:0
Content:
!669
{1
[1,10:0,12982588:17266936,12982588,0
[1,10:-2871607,12982588:20138543,17346687,0
[1,10:-2871607,-3577667:20138543,786432,0
h1,10:-2871607,-3577667:20138543,0,0
]====================== the coordinates for the position should increase by 4736287. PS: The synctex file generated with XeLaTeX (TL2011) does not work with SumatraPDF et al, due to the same reason. Best,Kan
