Maybe physical limit of  peda.vd.ch is reached, sync of TL mirror
could work during night but it seems to me that there should be a
transparent proxy at  peda.vd.ch and other transparent proxies in all
schools. Squid allows to build such hierarchical proxies but this is
rather a question for network admins.
