[tex-live] fmutil-sys fails on MacOSX

I have been updating TeXLive 2010 on MacOSX with tlmgr. I get the following error when fmutil-sys runs.

fmtutil-sys --no-error-if-no-format --byengine pdftex failed (status 1), output:
fmtutil: fmtutil: unknown option `--no-error-if-no-format'. Try fmtutil --help for help.

Don't see this error on Win32.

BTW - a workaround seems to be to run fmtutil-sys  --all

Any ideas?
