[tex-live] tl-2011: updmap needs perl-5.8.8 or newer

Hi,

installing/updating tl-2011 on a linux system with an old perl version (5.8.4)
I run into this error:

	$ updmap-sys
	Error in option spec: "setoption=s{1,2}"

because because those repeat counts for option arguments
only seem to be implemented since perl 5.8.8 (if I did my feature search correctly).

(speaking of opensuse releases, that's suse 10.1 or sles10 or newer,
some customers still run sles9, suse 9.0 and even more legacy [linux] systems...)

perldoc (even in 5.12.3) says about that "repeat feature":

       Warning: What follows is an experimental feature.

       Options can take multiple values at once, for example

so maybe it might be a good idea not to use such "experimental feature" if possible ?!

sorry for not beta-testing and speaking up only now:-(

Harald
