[tex-live] Suggestion for xelatex.ini (enlarging math families from 16 to 256)

Couldn't this be an idea for a small package xetex.sty like there's already a 
etex.sty to patch usage of the additional etex registers into LaTeX. Vafa 
wouldn't you like to make and maintain such a package?
