[tex-live] tlmgr broken since upgrading wget

Yesterday, the package manager (pacman) for ArchLinux x86_64 upgraded
me to wget 1.13.3. It seems to be installed properly, is in my $PATH,
and works fine for other purposes.

However, since then, tlmgr no longer works. Here's what I get:

$ sudo tlmgr update -self -all
/usr/local/bin/tlmgr: Initialization failed (in setup_unix_one):
/usr/local/bin/tlmgr: could not find a usable wget.
/usr/local/bin/tlmgr: Please install wget and try again.
Couldn't set up the necessary programs.
Installation of packages is not supported.
Please report to texlive at tug.org.
tlmgr: exiting unsuccessfully (status 1).

For what it's worth:


$ wget -V
GNU Wget 1.13.3 built on linux-gnu.

+digest

$ which wget
/usr/bin/wget

Any thoughts?
