Hi

I guess tis is a simple question, but here it is.

I would like to update all my installed texlive packages via commandline.

I tried:

> tlmgr update all

and it told me, that there are no packages to be updated.
Then I used the GUI:

> tlmgr --gui

and selected "Update all installed"

and a few packages were updated.

So: How can I do this "Update all installed" fromm the commandline? I guess, that I have to add
one option to load from CRAN the package information data, but how can I do this friom the command
line?

OS: Ubuntu Precise Pangolin, texlive self installed in home directory.

Thanks,

Rainer
