i can see no references in the files to uppercase versions of the names.

we can't change the documentation, even if we wanted to (short of
rewriting the whole thing: we have no source for it), but istm that its
references to the package are all in lower case.  some (if not all) of
the data files appear in the docs as uppercase.

i shall rename the files that need renaming to match the docs (plus
readme.txt as standard to remove the .txt), and leave the data files.

i like to imagine that such a mess (as this package seems to be) would
_not_ get past us, 10 years later.  we would almost certainly notice the
lack of source for the docs, nowadays, but...

as it is, we wouldn't have noticed anything wrong without the amazing
diligence of dan luecking -- so (yet more) kudos to him!
