If you read the log carefully (preferably use an editor that supports
searching the matching parenthesis), you will find that the error is
reported by hardwrap.sty

Looking at its line 57 I see the \@@input causing the problem. Can
\@@input (which is used in LaTeX to store the original \input
primitive) allowed to read from a pipe? I do not know.
