[tex-live] A question on licensing

Dear friends,

I have a question on licensing, so I beseech for your wisdom. :)

I have a humble tool written for TeX automation which is currently
released under the New BSD license. So far, this tool is not on CTAN,
but on a GitHub repository. Hopefully, I'll redeem myself with the new
version, planned to be CTAN-friendly.

I also would love to make the release TL-friendly in order to be
included in the TL distro, but I'm not sure if the current licensing
scheme I'm using actually fits the TL policy. I'm quite happy to
relicense my tool, if needed.

For what is worth, the license I'm currently using is this one:

http://opensource.org/licenses/bsd-license.php

This license seems to be verified as a GPL-compatible free software
license by the Free Software Foundation, but vetted as an open source
license by the Open Source Initiative.

Any help is appreciated. :)

Best wishes,

Paulo
