[tex-live] Texworks with Tex-Live on Linux

A lot of places (stackoverflow, ask-ubuntu, tex.stackexchange.com etc.) 
you can read what you've said; that TeX-Live does not install binaries 
for TeXworks on Linux.

Can we confirm this from the documentation or the like? The installation 
guide says that the choice of editor is left for the user on Linux, but 
yet there is a option called "TeXworks" during the installation process 
on Linux. Couldn't the installation guide be a little more specific; 
maybe saying "(no binary installed, only settings files)"?
