[tex-live] TexLive 2016: cannot get TikZ graphdrawing library to work (pgfkeys errors)

Hello Norbert,
I'm sorry, I'm just an end-user and was thus not able to
see/decide whether *I* was doing something wrong here, or whether the
packager did. I will follow your suggestion, but I suppose that it will
take a while to fix this. I would like to get things to work more
quickly than that.

Would you suggest I remove the butchered TeXlive installation and go for
a manual home directory install as described on
https://www.tug.org/texlive/quickinstall.html ? Or is there a different
way how I might fix this by myself?
