[tex-live] bugreport: error in texlive 2017 (lualatex)

This is not an issue with texlive, they can only distribute the code that
is uploaded to ctan by authors.

unfortunately geometry package has not been updated to work with luatex
0.85 (this has been reported to the author many times)

for now (as for the whole of last year) you need

\RequirePackage{luatex85}

a layer of compatibility with old luatex.
