tangramtikz installation: something fishy

Did you try

kpsewhich TangramTikz.sty

  or search independently of case?

Because that's what's working here. And yes it's a bit confusing but the 
naming in TeX Live usually is lowercase only. Simply because it depends 
on the used OS if that makes a difference.
