tl24 release status

The images currently in rsync://tug.org/texlive-Images/test/ are what
will be the TL24 release, so far as I know. Barring bugs, they should be
identical to the last (yesterday's) pretest repository.

I will wait a day or two for any testing, and for MacTeX to be
finalized, before making the release.

If anyone notices urgent problems that should be corrected before the
release, let me know, of course. --thanks, karl.
