[tex4ht] tex4ht and xelatex?

Hello.

I'm trying to produce OpenOffice documents from xelatex source files; I
found tex4ht on the web, and saw that it was supposed to do so.

However, when I try a very simple file:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{xltxtra}

\begin{document}

Essai avec caractères accentués.

\end{document}

I get an arror on compiling:

$ htxlatex test.tex
...
! LaTeX Error: Command \acute' already defined in '.

and hitting <return> after that gives more and more errors of that type.

Is this a know problem? Are there any solutions?
