[texhax] table numbering

A small clarification:  The \label does not have to be IN the \caption.
It can be either in the \caption or AFTER the \caption.
 
 \begin{table}
 ...
 \caption{...}
 \label{tt1.tab}
 \end{table}
 
The point is that the table does not have a number until there is a
caption.
