[texhax] do British LaTeX macros exist?

First of all, do you always write sending attachments that 
contain attachments?  Not easy to reply to!

Well, it's an odd request and almost certainly there is
nothing like you ask for.  It looks like a sure recipe for
getting into trouble.  Many macros depend on knowing the 
name (i.e., the letters used) of other macros and many get
redefined in packages.  Of course, simple equivalences
should be ok, but it strikes me as a pointless risk.  If 
you do go ahead and do it yourself, don't use \let, use 
\def, so that redefinitions don't get lost.

By the way, I am British, always insist on British spelling,
punctuation and grammar, but it never occurred to me to
change the LaTeX macro names.
