[texhax] latex2html

I want to try composing webpages with latex. I am running MikTeX, a recent
version, on Windows98. I found and installed (I think) the latex2html package
off the web via MikTeX Options. I now have some .sty files that seem to relate
to html. However, I don't find an executable (.exe) file for latex2html, like
I do for latex.exe, for instance. I use TextPad as my editor, and I tried to
install latex2html as a "Tool," but it doesn't work.

I have read something on the web about needing Perl to run latex2html on
Windows. I hope that is not the case, since the one and only time I tried to
download and install Perl, it crashed my machine badly.

Can anyone tell me an easy way to generate html pages from LaTeX documents?

Thanks.
