[texhax] conversion problem

There is no such thing as TeX 4, there must be confusion somewhere.

Anyway, you might look at http://tug.org/utilities/texconv/textopc.html,
which lists a number of converters with information.  latex2rtf is the
principal free one.

As Tom suggested, you might also stay in OpenOffice
(http://www.openoffice.org), it is a free alternative (of sorts) to Word.
