[texhax] why the text around the figures disappear after a flashing ?

Dear friends,

I cannot find a solution from any FAQ, and hope there are some help from 
you.

The problem is that in the .ps from dvips, some text around an inserted 
figure **flash** for a second before the figure appear, then the text 
disappear after the figure is shown. The figure is from `automatically 
calculate bounding box' from the `PS to EPS' function of GSview itself. I 
tried using \makebox, minipage to bound the figure, but no use.

The .pdf from pdflatex can solve this problem with correct text around the 
figures. The .pdf figure is generated by eps2pdf from .eps figures. But 
pdflatex cannot satisfy me in another issue (I am using MSC macro to draw 
MSCs, which cannot be shown by pdflatex.)

I attach the correct .pdf and wrong .ps files, and also the figure files. 
how can dvips or other means generate .ps file with text around figures 
***not disappearing***? or some parameters needed in the .tex for certain 
special figures?

plus: the beginning part of the attached files is these .tex:

resources with the message senders (e.g.\ hereby CM), etc. The processing 
protocol, agent ability and resource constraints of real-world systems 
limit the concurrency in designs to be quasi-concurrency in 
implementations, by context switch and scheduling algorithms.

Once the messages \texttt{chsw-1}, \texttt{chru-1} and \texttt{secon-1} are 
consumed by LSWR, CRH and SM respectively, the activities \textsf{chsw}, 
\textsf{chru} and \textsf{secon} start on the individual agents. In the 
simple running example, there are no further more agents involved, but 
complex cooperations with more communications among more agents
