[texhax] \caption in figure environment

Dear list,

When I use the \caption command in the figure environment of LaTeX , I
get something like this:

Figure 1: Here is my caption.

But I´d like to get something like this:

\textbf{Figure 1.} Here is my caption.

What do I have to do?
