This is the latest version.

    Please advise me on the items we need to keep, and those that are obsolete 
    and can be withdrawn.

All others are not current and shouldn't actually be used to install
running systems -- but there is some historical value in having them
around, to see the evolution of TeX, when new packages were introduced, etc.
But of course it is your choice ...
