[texhax] selecting chapters from book through dviselect

I tried that already (i.e., using pstopdf, which is a script file invoking 
gs with various options), but characters look then quite fuzzy. That's why 
I prefer dvipdfm to pstopdf.

I read there is a specific option for GS to have fonts embedded in the PDF
file, although this results in a slightly larger PDF file. I tried that as
well, but didn't work on my system.
