I already suggested this, but here we go again:

\usepackage[reqno]{amsmath}

\begin{align*}
	A &= B  \tag{3pts}\\
	C &= D \tag{50pts}
\end{align*}

This will produce the output

		A = B			(3pts)
		C = D			(50pts)

I don't know how to get the dotted line.
