Unfortunately it behaves "a little bit" different here. There is a
cursor blinking when I have selected the hand tool. When I use the
magnifier tool the cursor disappears and I get a different mouse
pointer instead. However, independent of which tool I select, when I
switch to fullscreen mode the blinking cursor comes back.
Anybody out there who can tell me where to report this bug?
Another question: Unlike previous versions of Acroread for Linux,
Acroread-7 makes heavy use of shared libraries provided by Linux.
Is it possible that one of the libraries is misconfigured?
Can any Linux user confirm the behaviour described above?
If it's a bug in Acroread it would be a pity if it will not be fixed
in AR-8.0.
Regards,
Reinhard

Microsoft isn't the answer. Microsoft is the question, and the answer is NO.
