[texhax] linebreak problem

hi everybody,

i've been searching for a while in order to find a
solution to this but...well, obviously failed :(

i found that LaTeX doesn't break long lines in the
list of figures/tables. instead they are just 
truncated...which doesn't exactly please the eye :\
on the other hand, the same document works perfectly 
fine with pdflatex...

is there any way to get around this problem?
