This is due to the fact that the topic index is maintained by me
alone. It is a single HTML file installed at my personal website
mirrored to CTAN, whereas the other parts of the Catalogue are
generated by scripts from XML source from time to time.

Currently there are roundabout 2500 entries in the TeX Catalogue. I
began working on the topic index back in 2002, but it is hard to
finish. So I have begun scanning the Catalogue entries from A to Z for
those that are still missing. Currently I have arrived at "collect"...

So suggestions from users are quite welcome. Please write to me if you
miss a package or a cross-reference between the nodes in the topic
index.

Jürgen.
