[texhax] graphics into latex

Hi!

When I do this:
\newpage

\begin{center}
\begin{minipage}[b]{.25\linewidth}
\centering
\includegraphics[width=3in]{code27.png}
\end{minipage}%

\end{center}

I see the following (it's a screenshot of what I see): http://www.net4ed.net/screen/screen.GIF

The screenshot shows a bigger-than-life version of code27.png, in which the lower left corner of the actual image is displayed.  I'm using graficx. . . 

Is there anything that I ought to be doing to grab the whole image and actually see it?
