Thomas Esser has apparently quit maintaining TeTex. So who has or will be assuming the role? I'm trying to decide if I should make the transition for my Linux system, but, I have my concerns. Tex could go the route of troff+eqn+pic+tbl, the old AT&T Bell Labs typesetter from the 1970s. Thanks for the info. Richard David Sherman
