Hi Susan,
what you propose is not only your personal opinion, it is good
programming practice too. It is always problematic to re-define
existing macros or even primitives.
Susan, I remember that you joined this mailing list because you had a
question some years ago. I'm amazed now that you help other people
and your answers are amazingly reasonable and very precise.
It would be nice to have more people like you on this mailing list.
