Well they look to be Zapf Chancery-like:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{chancery}
\begin{document}
\emph{y}

$\mathcal{Z}$
\end{document}

But the ``y'' is a bit off --- looks more like Monotype Corsiva (a
Zapf Chancery knock-off).

Check _The Comprehensive LaTeX Symbol List_:

letter.pdf

when in doubt, though you'll probably need to go somewhere like
www.identifont.com to determine exactly which font was used for the
``y''.
