Hi,

I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly. I took it to mean that you want to use a pspicture inside a caption -- something like this will do it:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{pst-all}

\newsavebox{\circIbox}
\sbox{\circIbox}{
\begin{pspicture}(0,0)(0.6,0.5)
\put(0,0){\pscirclebox{I}}
\end{pspicture}
}
\newcommand{\circI}{\usebox{\circIbox}}

\begin{document}

\section{e \circI f}

\end{document}
