[texhax] pstricks help

Hi,
I'm not sure I'm contacting the right address but I like pstricks a lot, but always have a problem getting the correct scaling on the postscript figures I produce.
Specifically, there always seems to be a lot of white space surrounding what I have drawn, and this manifests itself in not being able to put text around the figures when I insert them in documents,
