Hi Matthew,
Thanks a lot for your suggestion. You are right. I was trying to run
pdfLaTeX on this file. However, later on I tried to use PGF and TikZ for
graphics in LaTeX which is working fine.
Thanks and regards,
Aniruddha

Dear Aniruddha,
I had suggested you post the example to the texhax list, not to me
personally, so as many people can see it. There are quite a few
experts on the list, I was just letting you know about the customs.
But any way, here is the error message I got:
! Undefined control sequence.
<recently read> \c at lor@to at ps
l.14 \psdots(
0,0)(2,0)(1,1)
I think you are trying to run pdflatex on this file, and pstricks
isn't compatible with pdflatex (regular latex produced DVI, which can
be converted to PostScript, and this is where pstricks does its
tricks). When I ran regular latex it compiled without error and
produced what you wanted.
PGF and TikZ is a basically an implementation of pstricks in pdf(la)
tex, so maybe you want to check that out. I use it all the time and
it's great.
Enjoy!
