I really don't know, but would it be possible for you to download  
MacTeX?:

It's a huge download, I know, but worth every byte. MacTeX is the Mac  
distribution of TeXLive, which is the standard TeX distro. It comes  
with TeXShop, a very friendly (La)TeX editor that calls pdfTeX by  
default. There are other front-ends (editors), like TeXmaker
