1. Try parallel with ordinary footnotes. ednotes uses manyfoot for the
critical apparatus, and manyfoot's footnotes go just to where ordinary
footnotes go. Does anybody else know from experience?

2. Google for `Quod nihil scitur forsan', you find a page of a parallel
Latin-German edition of Franciscus Sanchez' text. Scroll to the bottom of
the page: There are critical footnotes. As I understood Sergei Mariev who
made the Latin text this was made with ednotes and parallel. But I am
asking him for confirmation.

I am also suggesting this googling because I find the design interesting.

The book is the last item of www.webdesign-bu.de/uwe_lueck/ednworks.html
where you find additional information (in English) about it.

All the best,

     Uwe.
