That assumes that all you want is primary colors. of course, but you can 
also bring in any one of the PANTONE color swatches if you have them in 
something like Illustrator and you want to specify a particular ink to 
your printer.   That means making sure you are working in CMYK and not 
in RGB, and requires an understanding of the values used for CMYK 
process colors.  The process colors allow you to see a close 
approximation of the PANTONE color even on a fairly low-cost InkJet.  (I 
am having good success with an HP psc 750xi.  The upgraded drivers in 
CUPS are wonderful.)

If you want more, I can send an example of a \special that works.  After 
that you will need to create Illustrator EPS files to see what the 
precise process color specification is  for each swatch.
