[texhax] \includepdf and A1 page

Hello,

I have the following problem:

I have a pdf of A1 size, i.e. 4x2 A4 (width x height).

I'd like to put it to A3 paper.

I'm trying to use \pdfpages package for it; unfortunately, I'm not able to get the desired effect.

When I used \includepdf[fitpaper,scale=.5]{OP1-P.pdf} (only one page), the original pdf is scaled in such way that A1 becomes A3 (4x2 A4 -> 2x1 A4) - that's OK.

But the page size keeps the original size of the pdf, that is A1! - That's unwanted.

Any idea how to solve the problem?

- Maybe I could use \includegraphis instead of \includepdf; but I cannot (= don't know how to) switch successfully to A3 (landscape), reset page margins to zero, put the pdf on the page and restore the original lengths (paper size and margins) after that.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Lukas

(NB: Sorry if anyone read and solved similar problem on CSTUG; I tried to find the solution (if it exists) but I wasn't successful.)
